Digital Baptism is a campaign that serves as a real-time experiment exploring how individuals can craft fake identities or adopt different personas on social media platforms. We engage with individuals on social media, conducting a real-time observation to understand the dynamics of their online and offline presence.

Focused on Instagram and its diverse features, spanning photo and video posts to interactions through likes and comments, the project explores the crafting of a highlight reel.
Each user builds a persona, projecting an image that may resonate with their genuine selves or values but can also take the form of a distorted version.
The project aims to articulate the concept of fake identities and elucidate the processes that contribute to their formation.


To accomplish this, we enlisted 3 pairs, involving a total of 6 individuals.
